Coronation Street spoilers follow from Friday’s episode (1 August), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
The ITV soap hints at a strange conspiracy in tonight’s episode after Carla Connor pays a visit to Logan Radcliffe in prison.
Carla desperately seeks answers over whether the rumours were true over Lisa Swain’s late wife being a corrupt police officer.
Much like when Lisa and Becky’s daughter Betsy came to see him a few weeks ago, smug Logan loves holding all the cards.
The manipulative criminal refuses to give any information away about Becky unless Carla pays him £10,000.
Just as the Underworld businesswoman starts to question whether Logan really knows anything, he reluctantly shares a clue. Although the thug doesn’t want to give much detail away, he also needs to prove that there’s a secret worth bargaining for.
“Tia Wardley – you can have that one for free,” Logan tells Carla. “Anything else, you know the price.”
Once she has returned to work, Carla carries out a brief online search for the name Tia Wardley but it proves fruitless.
Meanwhile, back at the jail, Logan’s chat with the factory boss has attracted unwanted attention from a more menacing inmate.
The guy in question visits Logan in his cell, warning: “You’ve been a chatty boy today, ain’t you? I’ve just got off the phone – our mutual friend’s not happy with you at all.”
Although Logan protests that he didn’t say anything incriminating, he looks set to pay the price as the other prisoner prepares to give him a beating.
So, who is Tia – and the “mutual friend” who’s in contact with both prisoners? All is sure to be revealed in the coming weeks and months…
