Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) made a dramatic return to the cobbles of Coronation Street earlier this year and has been causing havoc for sister Carla Connor (Alison King) ever since.
The killer used Carla’s need for a new kidney to plot his escape from prison, though his initial plan was thwarted by DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers).
When he finally managed to break out of hospital, Rob took Carla and Lisa hostage, before being left for dead at the bottom of a staircase.
Now, Rob is keen for not just freedom, but revenge.
Recent scenes have seen him reunite with former lover Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), and beg her for help – though things took a horrifying turn when he pulled a gun on her.
Refusing medical help, Rob insisted that he wanted to see Carla.

In upcoming scenes, terrified Tracy follows Rob’s orders and summons Carla to No.1 under the guise of a business proposition.
Having been told to make her way over as soon as possible, Carla soon arrives and is shocked to come face to face with Rob – especially as she believed he had left the country.
With Rob clutching a gun and clearly in pain, it is clear that Carla has been dragged into a very dangerous situation.
But is Rob set to prioritise freedom or revenge?
When detective Lisa catches wind of the hostage situation, she is quick to put herself in danger, as a new spoiler video reveals.

As unhinged Rob threatens to shoot Carla, they are both stunned when Lisa urges him to put the gun down, pointing out that killing a hostage would add years to his sentence.
Rob orders her to lock the door and sit down next to Carla, leaving them both at his mercy as he continues to brandish the gun.
Will Rob take the opportunity to flee the cobbles, taking Tracy with him, or set out to finish what he started?
As a gunshot fires, who is on the receiving end of the bullet?
