The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Friday, August 1, 2025! Fans can expect Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to make a sacrifice for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Graziadei) doubts Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Also, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) gets a little help from a friend. Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.

Daniel Romalotti, Jr’s Doubt

Let’s start off with Phyllis, who has returned to Genoa City along with all the other attendees at Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) killer party. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY Y&R spoilers, here!)

Phyllis will tell Daniel all about the events that took place. Well, most of them. The redhead will also tell her son about the big plan. While Phyllis will be eager to get what she wants, Daniel will doubt its success.

Once Phyllis makes up her mind about something, it’s impossible to change it. So, despite Daniel’s warnings about Cane and Billy, Phyllis could continue going full-speed ahead.

Jack Abbott’s Sacrifice

Over with Jack, he will make a huge sacrifice. Despite being lied to and deceived by Billy, that is exactly who Jack will make the sacrifice for.

Billy ranted about how Jack just held him back. On some level, Jack might wonder if it’s true.

There is also the possibility that Jack might join forces with Cane. Now, if that happens, it will make the Abbott family as well as Jabot targets for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) all over again. Not that the feud ever truly ended.

Tessa Porter’s Trouble

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 1 reveal that Tessa will have Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingles) at the park.

However, there will be some trouble. Tessa could have trouble hiding her emotions about Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).

Due to Aria’s young age, she could sense Tessa’s turmoil and be confused by Mariah’s sudden disappearance.

Unexpected Assistance

However, a new friend will come to Tessa’s rescue. Since the soap seems to be trying to pair Tessa with Daniel, that is likely who is her savior.

Maybe Tessa nearly breaks down in front of Aria, and Daniel comes in to make the little girl giggle. Perhaps Daniel is just a listening ear.

In any case, it seems that Daniel and Tessa are just going to get closer as time goes on. What does this mean for Mariah’s future, though?
