The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for the week of August 4, 2025.

It shows Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) having an uncomfortable surprise for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) offer a deal to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a proposition for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.

Claire Grace Newman’s Devious Deal

Let’s start off with Claire and Kyle, who stop by Adam’s office. In the preview clip for next week, Adam cooly and casually asks what brings them by.

Kyle stands quietly as Claire says, “Why else do Newmans drop by each other ‘s unannounced? To make a deal.” The woman has a slight smile, so I’m intrigued by what she proposes!

Lily Winters Redirected

Next, Victor will try to come up with a battle plan regarding Cane. The patriarch has already united his family. Next, he has a chat with Lily and Devon Winters (Bryton James). As Devon sits quietly on the couch, Victor asks if Lily is aware that Cane has returned to Genoa City.

Lily is and says she was just talking to Devon about the situation. The businesswoman then declares she is going to steer clear of him. However, Victor suggests that Lily do the exact opposite. Uh-oh, I don’t like where this is going!

Cane Ashby’s Surprise

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 1 reveal that Phyllis is somewhere alone with Cane. As the redhead holds a drink, the tycoon announces that someone else will be joining their meeting.

This is clearly a surprise, but Phyllis tries to play it cool. Red tells Cane, “Well, they must be a heavy hitter if you’re letting them into your business world.” Wow, she can really lay it on a bit too thick, can’t she?

Cane then opens the door to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). As the two men chat at the door, Phyllis looks nervous from afar. It’s not clear if she can see who is at the door or not.

In any case, things are about to get even more complicated. I’m not Phyllis’ biggest fan, but I really hope Cane didn’t use her just to betray her at the last minute. After all, she was the first one to declare that Cane didn’t kill Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers).
