In the world of high fashion and even higher stakes, love is a dangerous game. For Nick Marone (Jack Wagner), it’s a game he’s ready to win for good. Lost in a romantic fantasy, Nick can picture it all with perfect clarity: the right moment, the perfect words, and a stunning diamond ring slipped onto the finger of the one woman who holds his heart, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). He envisions a future, a “forever,” built on their powerful connection, believing his love is strong enough to conquer all. For Nick, the question isn’t if he should propose, but when.
Just as Nick prepares to turn his daydreams into reality, a sobering voice of reason interrupts. Eric Forrester (John McCook), who has witnessed countless cycles of love and heartbreak, steps in with a heavy dose of reality. With the weight of fatherly concern, Eric attempts to pull the love-struck captain back down to earth, urging him to see beyond his desires.
