When we first met Steph, we learnt that she really thought a lot of her granddad. This caused problems between them and Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly), who hated the fact her father was in the village.
After Ruby killed her dad, Steph went on a mission to find out why her beloved grandfather suddenly disappeared. Due to the fact Ruby and Caleb (William Ash) weren’t planning on telling her the truth, Steph couldn’t understand why they weren’t concerned about an old man vanishing.
Eventually, after finding a gun, Steph concluded that either her mum or dad killed Anthony. She planned to report them to the police, but Caleb took the fall for Ruby and went to the station before his daughter.

After saying an upsetting goodbye, Ruby told Steph everything, hoping it would be enough to save Caleb from prison. She told her daughter about being abused by Anthony, the fact she murdered him, and confirmed to Steph that the person she thought is her granddad, is her biological father as well.
Steph’s focus then turned to Caleb, who was moments away from telling the police that he killed someone. Mother and daughter raced to the station and brought Caleb home, saving him from a life behind bars.
Amid everything, Steph cannot compute in her mind that she was conceived as a result of her mum being raped by her dad. Unsurprisingly, upcoming episodes will see her spiral further as she quite literally tries to remove Anthony from her existence.

In an emotional chat with her mum, Steph tells her that whenever she sees her reflection, she just sees Anthony.
Ruby does her best, hoping to given her some closure but as Steph leaves the conversation, she starts to research plastic surgery providers, convinced it will help.
But how will Ruby and Caleb react if they find out what Steph is planning?
