On today’s Days of Our Lives, we pick up from yesterday, with Marlena getting called back to the office, leaving Chad and Cat in the square to brainstorm how to save the hospital. Cat apologizes for him being forced to work with her, but Chad assures her it’s fine. She’s still feeling awkward over her admission that she has feelings for him, but Chad, again, just shrugs it off.
They’re both working to move past what happened, but they’ll get there. No reason not to work together. They get down to planning the fundraiser, determined to make it fun for once. They want to do something like a street fair for the whole family and Cat talks about going to one with Felicity and her family.
They’ll put the nurses and doctors in the dunk tank, and Chad talks about Marlena volunteering, cracking a joke about holy water and explains the devil possession thing to a dumbfounded Cat. Chad’s completely blasé about the whole thing. “Welcome to Salem, Cat.” But then he wants to put Marlena in a devil costume to dunk at the fair. (Please, no.)
Cat thinks it’s too much, so Chad, thankfully, pulls back. He might see things a bit skewed coming from the messed up DiMera family, he admits. They get back to serious business and decide to do an auction for fun stuff — including a bachelor auction.
‘Rafe’ Tosses Gabi Out
In the Hernandez kitchen, RoboRafe is annoyed Gabi isn’t on his side, earning her ire — especially when he calls her a “bitch.” She’s about to lay into him when she pulls back. “I’m trying really hard not to pick up a pan and bash you with it.” She thinks he’s ill, maybe messed up from the coma, but “Rafe” isn’t interested. When she tries to take him to the hospital to do a brain scan, he refuses and Gabi’s thrown for a loop when Savannah shows up at the door.
Gabi’s disgusted and storms out. Savannah marvels that Gabi’s a “drama queen of a sister,” and wonders how they’re even related. Arnold then tells Savannah a secret… “She’s not my sister.” But instead of the truth, he says he was adopted. Savannah says she missed him, and when they start going at it, he tells her to call him “Arnold.”
That was his name at the orphanage before the Hernandez family adopted him and tried making him someone different. Savannah just shrugs. “Whatever floats your boat, Arnold.” They run off to the bedroom.
Jada and Shawn Sleep Together
Jada and Shawn tear off their clothes as they go at it on Stephanie’s couch. After, the two take stock on how they’re feeling. It was great, but a bit strange, Jada admits, since she had just thought she’d be with Rafe for the rest of her life. She still feels a bit guilty, but Shawn assures her she did nothing wrong. They get all cutesy and cuddly and agree they like spending time together.

Stephanie Tells Alex and Jada About Arnold
In the pub, Stephanie explains to Alex what happened with Arnold last time he was in town, and how much of a “world class creep” he was then, too. She lays out how EJ and Stefano created RoboRafe and explains how he was beaten to death in prison. Except… with Stefano and EJ involved, their M.O. is faking deaths. And now EJ’s involved in this all over again.
Arnold could still be around. “I will never get over that feeling of him putting his hands on me,” Steph shudders. They decide it’s time to call Jada, but don’t get through as she’s in the shower. She decides to text her and head home, but before Stephanie can, Gabi rushes in wanting a drink.

She lays out what happened with “Rafe” to Stephanie and Alex, which is when Alex lays out their theory, while Steph runs off to get hold of Jada. Gabi finds it hard to believe, having heard of Arnold (she wasn’t around then) but saying he’s dead. “What if he’s not?” Alex asks.
Jada switches places with Shawn in the shower, but he tells her to check her phone first. She gets Stephanie’s voicemail saying it’s super important they need to talk. Stephanie gets home and wastes no time telling Jada about “Rafe’s” pass, but before she can go further, Jada starts railing against her ex. When Steph hears about Savannah, she’s sure she’s right. “Rafe isn’t Rafe.”
Kayla and Marlena Talk Business
Back at the hospital, Kayla pops into Marlena’s office. There’s not a lot on the bankruptcy front, but Marlena tells her Cat may have a solution. Kayla agrees it could be good to do a fundraiser, and Stephanie could help get word out. Even Chad’s helping, Marlena says, though Kayla’s a bit taken aback by them working together.

Marlena says Cat really wants to make amends, and Kayla acknowledges that if Chad can forgive her, she deserves a second chance.
Jada Realizes She May Have ‘Cheated’ On Rafe
In the show’s final moments, Chad heads home for dinner and Cat goes back to Felicity, agreeing to get back together to work on the fundraiser some more.
Rafe and Savannah finish their “afternoon delight” and she leaves “Arnie” to shower and get to work. Back at the pub, Gabi warms to the idea that Arnold Feniger is still alive. “It would explain everything that’s happened over the last few weeks.”

Back at Stephanie’s, Jada reads through an article on Arnold, marveling how he looks exactly like Rafe. Except he’s dead. No, Stephanie tells her, he could be alive. It’s just a theory, but it seems plausible. That means Rafe didn’t leave her at the altar or cheat on her. Jada looks uncomfortable, and then Shawn comes out of the bathroom.
