EastEnders newcomer Alice Haig has teased some details about her character Vicki Fowler.
Vicki was last seen in Albert Square back in 2004, but last month it was announced that the character will return for her uncle Martin’s funeral, with Haig taking over the role from Scarlett Alice Johnson
Vicki will return to Walford on Monday (March 31) with her boyfriend Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) and his teenage son Joel (Max Murray), with her arrival raising some eyebrows.
Haig has now teased some of her character’s qualities, which she believes Vicki has inherited from her parents Michelle Fowler and Den Watts.

“Michelle is a down to earth and fiery character, and I think those traits are definitely within Vicki,” she said.
“But I think she also has a real twinkle in her eye which I imagine comes from her dad, as well as her ability not to tell the whole truth.”
Shortly after her arrival, it soon becomes clear that Vicki has an ulterior motive as she lies to Ian Beale about her debt and asks him for a loan.

When asked if Vicki can be trusted, Haig said: “You’re speaking to the wrong person because of course I think Vicki can be trusted.
“I think Vicki is one of those characters that is a good person who often gets herself into bad situations.”
Going on to tease some of the drama ahead, she added: “What I will say is that not everything is quite as it seems, and with Vicki in general, I would say she responds from quite an emotional place and over the course of the next few weeks, that response is going to get her into some sticky situations.”
