EastEnders‘ Reiss Colwell has resorted to a dark move in his plan to keep Sonia Fowler and himself out of prison.
Sonia asked Jack Branning if she could take a look at her sister Bianca Jackson’s confession video, unaware Reiss is holding her hostage.
In a recent turn of events, Bianca taped a video admitting to killing Reiss’ estranged wife, Debbie, so that her life insurance would help Sonia and her partner with IVF.
Fans know Reiss actually killed Debbie and has been keeping quiet about his crime. Sonia, who doesn’t know her partner murdered his wife, ended up taking the blame, though her trial was derailed when Bianca came forward.
In tonight’s scenes, Sonia was upset as she watched a copy of Bianca’s confession.
“I want to know why she’s saying she killed Debbie,” Sonia told Reiss, who immediately replied: “Because she did!”
“She looks a shadow of herself,” Sonia said of Bianca. “This ain’t my sister.”
As Reiss and Sonia were working on the nursery space for the baby, DI Xiang stopped by to let them know that an arrest warrant had been issued for Bianca and she would be charged with murder.
The detective promised Sonia the police would find her sister, with the nurse determined to find out whether Bianca could really be a killer.

Worried that Bianca may expose him once she’s found, Reiss went back to the lockup with a sinister idea.
“Your plan, it worked too well,” Reiss told Bianca, informing her she was wanted for murder.
Despite Bianca swearing she wouldn’t talk, Reiss said he couldn’t let her go and presented her with a bottle of pills to take.
“I wish it didn’t have to come to this, but I’ve got no option,” Reiss told her.
