Manpreet fears that she has messed up badly after getting distracted with a mistaken theory that Joe Tate is the one targeting her.
Viewers have seen Manpreet receive sinister messages from someone who knows about the racy pictures she posted online via an Only Fans-style website.
Manpreet fears losing her position as a doctor if the truth is exposed, so she’s taking the blackmailer’s demands very seriously.
Next week, Manpreet arranges a meeting with the blackmailer so they can finally come face-to-face and she can hand over money.
When Joe Tate turns up, Manpreet jumps to conclusions and rages at him over the blackmail.
Joe denies any involvement and once Manpreet finally takes him at his word, she fears the real blackmailer’s response to the failed handover.
