CORONATION Street star Luca Toolan has revealed he has a ‘normal job’ just weeks after being axed and killed off from the soap.
The star played the role of reformed bully Mason Radcliffe on the ITV soap but was stabbed in a shocking episode at the start of the year.
Mason’s brothers, Matty and Logan, stabbed him using Dylan Wilson’s knife which left him dying on the play park.
It marked the end of an 18-month stint for Luca on the show.
Now, he has told his fans how he has found work as a teacher just weeks after leaving the show.
Luca will be running a series of acting classes following his soap fame.
In a new video, Luca spoke of his new role, in which he said: “I am keeping myself busy as best as possible and I am running some acting classes.
“I am teaching at Bee Rogue Talent so thank you to those guys.
“It is going to be great and we are going to do a lot of script anaylsis, improvisation, character development and learning and teaching the craft of acting.
“I am super excited.”
This new teaching role comes after the 21-year-old soap nepo baby also landed a role on another project alongside his radio presenter dad.
The 21-year-old has joined the cast of a brand new comedy TV pilot, which features a host of well-known faces – including his famous radio presenter dad.
Luca is the son of Mike Toolan – the veteran radio star- who is very excited to be taking part in Grass Roots, which is currently filming in Preston.
Emmerdale legend and Loose Women panellist Sheree Murphy will lead the cast as she makes her return to acting after more than seven years.
While other cast confirmed include The Bill & Hollyoaks star Kim Tiddy and G’Wed and Good Ship Murder actor Zak Douglas.
