The Bold and the Beautiful once again proves that death is never the end in their world! As Soap Central suspected, reports of Luna Nozawa’s death have been greatly exaggerated – by the very aunt who faked her death!
🧩 Li’s Up to Her Old Tricks: Li’s Dark Secret Continues to Cause Trouble
As soon as Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) suddenly announced she was taking a surprise leave of absence from the hospital, we knew why: she had a private patient to take care of elsewhere. And we were right. Luna (Lisa Yamada) is very much alive, albeit comatose.
When Li first broke the news of Luna’s death to Poppy, it all seemed a little strange. She had survived surgery but died in recovery on Li’s watch, with only Li there. Yes, something fishy had to be going on. It’s not like Li had never done this before. She kept a comatose Finn (Tannr Novlan) in a hotel room three years ago until she could nurse him back to health. But Finn wasn’t wanted by the police and set to spend a lifetime behind bars.
So, what happens to Luna when she inevitably wakes up?
💥 Luna’s Second Chance, Or the End of Steffy’s Marriage?
Luna already got a second chance after last summer’s murder and kidnapping spree, but she didn’t take advantage of it to learn to do better. Instead, she stalked Steffy, held her at gunpoint, locked a daft teacher in a closet, and shot both Sheila – her own grandmother – and Liam. Phew! That’s a lot of crimes!
Luna did all this with the excuse that she had a flighty mother who was more into men and drugs than she was into raising a child. While that is not an ideal childhood, it shouldn’t lead anyone to murder. However, after Luna’s alleged death, we learned that her mother was so far gone that Poppy was actually relieved that her own daughter was dead. Hmm… Maybe Luna’s childhood was worse than we imagined.
Now that we have a little more knowledge about Luna’s upbringing, might it finally be time to reform Luna the right way? With Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gone, it might be easier to accomplish this in 2025 than it was in 2024. We know Bill (Don Diamont) likely won’t want her this time, but what about the father Luna wanted to know so badly?
Finn will certainly be bored with his wife and kids out of town. If he learns that his mother is keeping a living Luna hidden, he might try to forge a real relationship with her. Steffy won’t like it, but while the wife’s away, the dad will play..
🔄 The Perfect Villainous Alliance: Luna and Sheila?
However, Sheila might be who Luna really needs. Sheila spent months as Luna’s mentor, but Luna never listened to her. Sheila tried to warn Luna not to go down her path. After her brush with death, is Luna ready to truly hear what her grandmother has to say? While we don’t ever want Luna and Sheila to be completely reformed (that would be no fun), they could make a formidable shades-of-gray scheming pair!
Will Luna’s “death” be the turning point for her to change? Will Finn make a mistake with Luna while Steffy is away? And what will happen if Luna and Sheila team up? Share your thoughts and predictions in the comments!
