Coronation Street’s special flashback
Coronation Street’s cast and crew went out on location this week to film special flashback scenes focusing on Kit Green’s life 17 years ago.
The ITV soap will be exploring Kit’s childhood, showing viewers what happened after his mum Bernie gave him up as a baby.
A younger version of Kit has been cast specially for the episode, while Jane Hazlegrove – who plays Bernie – transformed her image for the intriguing scenes set in 2008.
Corrie’s big episode also features a younger version of Weatherfield newcomer Lou Michaelis, who has a prior connection to Kit.
