Coronation Street’s Dylan Wilson is left fearing for his safety in Wednesday’s episode after a frightening warning from new villain Brody.
The teen’s time locked away in the Secure Training Centre turns nasty as his new “friend” shows his true colours for the first time.
Viewers have seen Brody deliberately befriend Dylan with an ulterior motive, after identifying him as a useful target for the future.
Earlier this week, Brody finally made his move while Dylan’s dad Sean Tully was paying a visit to the STC. Brody ordered Sean to supply him with a burner phone, otherwise he’d respond by making Dylan’s life hell.
In Wednesday’s episode, Sean pays a second visit and warns Dylan about Brody’s dark threats. He vows to report Brody to the guards, but Dylan begs him to leave it.
Later, Dylan tells Brody that there’s no way his dad will go along with the burner phone plan. He naively hopes that Sean’s silence over the matter will be enough to pacify Brody.
Refusing to back down, though, Brody enters Dylan’s room with a mate and trashes the place.
Sean is horrified to later receive a phone call informing him that Dylan has supposedly smashed up his own room.

He demands answers by calling Dylan, who confirms that Brody was responsible and Sean needs to reconsider the burner phone plan to avoid something much worse happening next.
Sean claims that reporting Brody is still the best move, as the guards can keep Dylan safe.
Dylan replies: “No, dad, no-one can. This happened because there was no phone. What do you think’s going to happen if I dob him in?”
Can Dylan and Sean team up and find a way to deal with the situation? Fans can see the full story when the episode airs at 8pm on ITV1 tonight, or right now on ITVX.
