General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many fans were left wondering if Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) was the one to blow up Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse after a huge hint dropped. Let’s talk about a clue in the March 24 episode and what it could mean for Brennan’s future.
At Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) WSB training facility, she was forced to undergo a lie detector test.
When Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) asked if Josslyn blamed Sonny for Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) injuries, she insisted she didn’t and put the blame on the person who planted the bomb instead.
Vaughn then asked what Josslyn would do if she came face to face with that person – and Brennan immediately stepped around the corner to watch Josslyn through the window.
Brennan entered the room for a conversation with Josslyn soon after, so there’s the potential for trouble here.
It’s possible GH writers were offering up a bit of misdirection, but it’s also possible they were providing a massive hint about who’s guilty.
After all, it’s incredibly suspicious for Josslyn to be asked what she’d do if she came face to face with the penthouse bomber before immediately coming face to face with Brennan.
That could easily be a clue that Brennan himself was behind the blast.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) gave Sonny updates on a shipment of the incendiary device to the WSB that went missing.
Someone who wanted to take out Sonny purchased it.
However, Valentin could only offer the name of the hitman who was hired and not the person behind the hit.
There’s a chance Brennan took a few extra steps to cover his tracks and try to steer suspicion elsewhere.
Of course, no one can trust Valentin’s version of events anyway since he misled Sonny about other info during that conversation.
Valentin would’ve said just about anything to get himself out of that tight spot after the break-in.
Whatever the case, we can’t ignore the hint that played out during Josslyn’s lie detector test.
The show certainly made Brennan look guilty in that moment, so was he responsible for blowing up Sonny’s penthouse and injuring Michael?
Jason has made some troubling predictions about Brennan’s fate lately, so all this could be building to disastrous news for Brennan if he’s indeed at fault.
