Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that an Estonia search will get underway as Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) follow John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) wild trail.

In the March 18 episode, Steve and Marlena were finally able to pry a critical clue out of Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy).

John’s handler lost track of him in Estonia, so now Marlena and Steve have a good place to start looking for more information.

Days spoilers say Steve and Marlena’s flight will land in Estonia soon, so they’ll have a chance to do some digging there.

John should have a pretty wild trail to follow that’ll come with plenty of twists and turns.

Although John’s last known whereabouts were in Estonia, he could be somewhere else entirely at this point.

However, Marlena and Steve will have to investigate before they can figure out where John might’ve gone next and why.

The logical explanation is that John was abducted, so his captors could be holding him anywhere by now.

Whether John faced off with an old enemy or a new one, he might’ve lost the fight and wound up in captivity.

Of course, there’ll probably be some heroic element to this DOOL story that ultimately gets revealed, too.

John may have leaped into action to save someone from a grim fate and ended up kidnapped in the process.

It’s even possible John offered himself as a hostage so that someone else could go free since that’s the kind of upstanding guy he is.

Whatever the case, John is obviously in deep trouble or else he would’ve found a way to get in touch with Marlena and his other loved ones.

Something serious must’ve gone down since John’s lost all contact.

Days spoilers hint that Steve and Marlena’s Estonia hunt may not work out as well as they hoped.

There may not be a whole lot to go on, but Marlena and Steve should at least come up with a hint or two that’ll tell them where to go next.

Sadly, Days fans can expect some crushing news at the end of this long and winding journey.

John won’t survive his final mission, so Steve and Marlena will eventually have to deliver some awful updates back in Salem.
