Days of Our Lives fans were given quite a treat this afternoon as Sal Stowers, known for portraying the fan-favorite Lani Price, caused quiet a bit of excitement in a brand-new post on social media.

The actress posted a video of herself on Instagram outside of a television studio to Riley Green’s song Rather Be. The actress captioned the video “It’s always a beautiful day in Salem! ⏳ @dayspeacock”

Stowers co-workers quickly took to the comment section to show their support. “Wowza meowza ❤️🔥” Said Linsey Godfrey, while Eric Martsolf added ,” Werk”, and the official Days of Our Lives account shared, “💙💙💙.” Raven Bowens added, “Beautiful perfect girl!!! 😍😍😍”

Fans immediately started sharing their excitement in the comment section. “SAAAAAAAAAAAAAL. MY GORGEOUS FAVE. I have missed you in Salem. Please let this mean you’re back full time!” Wrote Ariet, co-host of the Days of Our Lives podcast SoapDish Salem Style. “Are you really coming back? ❤️” Asked a second user, while another shared, “Yaaaaaaaassss don’t worry Channel!!! Big sister gorgeous 1 will home soon to fix it all!!❤️”

Stowers latest social media post comes after eagle eyed fans have been paying close attention to the actress and her beloved co-star Lamon Archey, who plays her on-screen husband Eli Grant, actions on social media as the two have been appearing on and off the official Days of Our Lives account. With this latest video it appears that the actress is teasing a potential return.

Viewers last saw Eli and Lani at the end of 2024  when the characters returned for the soap’s tribute to Bill Hayes and his character of Doug Williams as well as the soaps milestone 15,000th episode.

When Parade reached out for comment from the series, we were reminded that Stowers portrays an often recurring character whom comes and goes quiet frequently. So could a new visit to Salem be in the works? Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out.
