It’s a small but mighty list of people who care about Luna on The Bold and the Beautiful. And, it looks like the soap is teasing the possibility of that list growing. We’re hesitant to put the horse before the buggy when we say trouble is coming Will and Electra’s way, but the young couple could fall prey to Luna’s plotting.
Her obsession with Will is currently one-sided, but Thursday, August 14’s episode sprinkled in a suggestion that it may not stay like that for long. Could Electra find herself nursing a broken heart?
Trouble In Paradise
In the wake of Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) “death,” B&B has unfortunately circled back to an issue in Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra’s (Laneya Grace) relationship that could have stayed in the past. Once again, we’ve been treated to conversations about their lack of intimacy. Electra’s struggling to take the “next step, and Will’s been frustrated. While it’s nice to see a young man on TV confide in his mother about this topic, it’s not doing this couple any favors.
The writing around Electra’s perspective has been solid but it’s doubtful she’s going to get the same treatment Luna did when she and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) reached this point in their romance. There wasn’t another girl vying for RJ’s heart, let alone one as determined as Luna has revealed herself to be.
Electra Confesses What’s Holding Her Back
Electra was traumatized by her former friend Remy (Christian Weissmann) creating AI-generated nude images of her and posting them online. She told Will it’s part of the reason she’s struggled being intimate with him, but it wasn’t the sole factor in her hesitance. Electra confessed that she’s a child of divorce due to her father’s cheating. She saw how his choices devastated her mother, and it made it difficult for her to trust in a relationship.
As in love as Will and Electra are, he did come into the story crazy about girls. It’s the whole reason he’s working at Forrester Creations instead of starting out on the ground floor of his father’s business, Spencer Publications. He wants to hold out for Electra, but if Luna keeps pressing on that weak spot of his, he could find himself giving in to his desires and hurting Electra in the process.
