Coronation Street’s Georgia Taylor led the birthday tributes to co-star Julia Goulding as she turned 40 this week.
Julia, who plays the Street’s Shona Platt, celebrated the milestone on Thursday, with a number of her soap castmates posting messages on social media.
Georgia, who is best known as Weatherfield’s Toyah Battersby, shared a selection of pics on Instagram of her and Julia, who she said ‘lights up her life’.
She captioned the post: ‘Happy big birthday to this absolute rock star @julia_goulding The best dressing room buddy I could ever wish for.
‘Jooey, you light up my life every day.’
Julia’s on-screen husband Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, also shared his birthday wishes.
He posted a photo of Julia on her Stories, writing: ‘Happy birthday Mrs Platt.’

Soap newcomer Farrel Hegarty, who plays nightmare neighbour Lou Michaelis, also shared a snap of them on a night out together.
‘Happy 40th gorgeous human. Love you @julia_goulding,’ she captioned her Story post.
Julia was recently delighted to welcome Farrel to the cast, as the pair are close friends in real life.

Farrell was also in attendance at a birthday bash Julia threw for her 40th earlier this month.
‘We’ve known each other getting on 20 years nearly, I think,’ Julia revealed.
‘She went to drama school with my best friend from Manchester, and then when I lived in London, I went to a different drama school. We were just all a big gang in London.

‘It’s wonderful having her here.’
Meanwhile, Julia told her followers of how her mum went all out for her 40th.
She shared a picture of a birthday cake overloaded with candles, writing: ‘40 candles…my man nearly set the house on fire.’
