“Nothing has changed,” Carter insisted to Hope in the March 18 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. (Read the recap.) But she knew as well as we did that everything had changed. The moment that he gave Forrester Creations back to the Forresters, despite the way they had treated his girlfriend as well as his ideas, he totally doomed any hope that he had for their future as a couple.

No way Hope will forgive Carter for siding with the Forresters. In so doing, he essentially said, “The things that Steffy called you are OK. It’s not a big deal that Ridge acted like Brooke isn’t a part of his family and immediately ran back to Taylor. And that whole thing with Charlie? So what? Everybody’s been escorted out by security at some point, right?”

If not in the March 19 episode, Hope is gonna dump Carter and fast. Frankly, the COO is nuts if he thinks that Steffy would ever let Hope set foot back in Forrester. Steffy’s already said as much. We can imagine her clarifying that “absolutely, Hope For the Future has a home at Forrester. But Hope herself? Not a chance.”

So overnight, in essence, Hope will lose her boyfriend and her job. Which sounds sad if you’re still in Hope’s corner after she went all Steffy on Daphne for kissing Carter. (Hypocritical much?) But Hope will most certainly land on her feet. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if she seized this opportunity to tick off Steffy by running to Thomas in France, telling him, “Oui, I will marry you after all!” and bringing him back to L.A. to start a rival fashion house.

“I’m super duper sorry,” we can just hear him telling fiancée Paris. “But what Hope and I had… it was different. Special. I have to see where this leads. I have to. She took the one dealbreaker off the table. So your and my wedding is now going to be… Hope and my wedding.”
