Coronation Street’s Carla Connor will be put on edge as Rob Donovan resurfaces in new scenes.
Recent scenes saw Carla dramatically push Rob down the stairs amid his plan to escape from prison by donating a kidney to her, and he has been on the run after surviving the fall.
He has since secretly reached out to his son Bobby for help, with Ryan catching Bobby out for aiding his father, while Carla was furious when she learned the truth about what Bobby had done.
“Get out of my sight,” she angrily told him, while Rob was later seen laying low in an alleyway as he sent a text to Bobby calling him a traitor after Ryan appeared at a planned meeting between Rob and his son.
In new scenes set to air next Friday (March 7), Carla declares that she wants to return to work after her transplant and Rob’s dramatic escape.
Betsy then draws her attention to a news report revealing that Rob has been sighted in Brighton, Carla admitting that she hopes he is caught soon.
Yet she gets a shock when she returns home to find the door already open, realising that someone may be in the flat.
Has Rob appeared closer to home, and has he come back to haunt Carla?
In other Corrie news, it was reported last week that Catherine Tyldesley is set to return to the soap as Eva Price after seven years away. The star will reportedly begin filming her comeback this summer for scenes airing later this year.
