‘Brace yourselves!’ Huge Emmerdale scenes confirmed for child killer Ella

Emmerdale’s Paula Lane has said there’s ‘lots to come’ ahead of her exit from the ITV soap.

It was reported last year that Paula will finish filming as Ella Forster in the coming weeks.

The former Coronation Street star joined the ITV soap last year, in a storyline that eventually revealed Ella killed her best friend when she was a child.

The Emmerdale villagers eventually came to accept Ella as a member of the community. Away from the storyline about her past, Ella began a relationship with local GP Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), but that came to an end when he released he wanted to be with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

With Ella’s final scenes looming, star Paula Lane has been busy at the ITV soap. Just recently, she took a break from filming and surprised fans of the show at the Emmerdale tour.

Sharing some snaps from the wonderful event, Paula wrote alongside:

‘I absolutely loved meeting so many Emmerdale fans today at @emmerdaletour. Big shout to all the tour guides too who help to make it so enjoyable @clem_crowther and team. Also Billy for looking after me.

‘So many smiling faces even in the rain. It never ceases to amaze me how dedicated our fans are…without you there wouldn’t be a show. Absolutely love my handmade bracelet given to me as a present.’

Teasing what’s ahead for Ella, Paula added at the end of her caption: ‘I promised lots to come for Ella and I don’t break promises….brace yourselves!’.

It’s possible Ella will choose to leave the Dales for a new life elsewhere, once she learns of Liam and Chas’ engagement news.

Liam proposed to Chas last week during an evening in a limo. They were joined by multiple female members of the village, but Chas never got to say yes due to the vehicle crashing.

The group were then forced to walk across a frozen lake, with the limo stuck in the centre.

Liam and Chas worked together and supported each other during the ordeal, with Chas eventually telling Liam that she always feels safe with him, and then proposed herself.

The limo disaster killed Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), with another body in the lake being confirmed as Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
