The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has had some chilling moments in the land of Genoa City, but mostly because he’s up to no good – all the time! The character’s portrayer recently shared a chilling summer moment, but it may not be what fans think it is!
Eric Braeden Just Couldn’t Resist!
Eric loves sharing things with his fans on social media, and a recent Instagram post proved to be both fun, chilling, and sweet!
The actor posted a photo of himself in front of an ice cream shop, indulging in a cone. The caption of the IG post stated, “I couldn’t resist, and should I take some home to Nikki, too?”
He proceeded to tag his co-star, Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), further asking fans, “What flavor would she like?”
Braeden’s Comment Section
Tons of fans chimed in, with some wishing Braeden a “Happy National Ice Cream Day”, as Braeden’s post was timely, being uploaded on the day everyone celebrates the sweet treat: Sunday, July 20.
Of course, some fans offered fine suggestions about what ice cream flavor Nikki would prefer, and others provided some of the flavors they geared toward.
Interestingly enough, former Y&R alum, Doug Davidson, who once played the iconic Paul Williams, also commented as a longtime colleague and friend of Braeden. Davidson stated, “Any and all!! It’s the best!!!”
One could describe the recent situation Victor was in, in Nice, as “chilling,” considering his son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) ended up getting quite injured at Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn).
In addition, two murders took place, one being Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers), and another of the former son-in-law, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Victor did take the situation in stride, and the good news is that he’ll soon be back in Genoa City, wreaking havoc and making revenge plans against Cane for placing his family in harm’s way. But will he stop to enjoy some ice cream in the aftermath?
