Altar-ed States: A New Willow Emerges, As Britt’s Fate Rocks Port Charles

This week on General Hospital, everything is about to be turned upside down, starting with the ill-fated wedding of Willow Tait and Drew Cain.

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) stuns the entire town by still walking down the aisle to marry Drew (Cameron Mathison), even after discovering he slept with Nina (Cynthia Watros). Willow blames Nina entirely for her life becoming the hot mess that it is, and she doesn’t seem to know where else to turn. As she told Nina, all she had left was Drew.

Is that why she still appears to want to marry him, or is she about to pull a last-minute fast one when the ceremony begins? Willow initially takes Drew’s hands, but then lets go. If she does go through with things and marries Drew, is it so she can exact revenge on him while they are wed? A brand-new Willow seems to have emerged, and there’s no telling what she is truly capable of.

Will she snap and do something Nelle-like on their honeymoon, or does she have a long-term plot in mind? Nina watches with dread, about to find out exactly what her daughter is capable of. Whatever Willow does, it’s certainly not what anyone in that church expects from her.

The Jaw-Dropping Truth About Britt: Alive or an Elaborate Scheme?

Jason (Steve Burton) knows his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him; the woman he saw was either Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) or someone who looks just like her. Jason’s odds are on the woman being Britt, so he is now determined to find her.

To that end, Jason goes to the best. His old pal Anna (Finola Hughes) is ready and willing to listen. She is shocked by what Jason has to say and wonders if Britt could have staged her own death. Did she plan to get “hooked” that night? That would seem a bit strange and would be quite a retcon. Was Britt in cahoots with Heather Webber (Alley Mills)?

Perhaps Liesl (Kathleen Gati) found a faint pulse on the way to the hospital and decided to revive and hide her daughter using her mad scientist skills. Either way, Britt seems comfortable in a hotel room, Browse on her laptop. When there’s a knock on her door, will we finally get the answers we’ve been waiting for?
