Jack and Hanni, who met on the set of the long-running ITV soap, got engaged during a safari trip to Tanzania in June 2024. Speaking on Celebrity Big Brother, Jack had teased the wedding would happen this summer, keeping most details tightly under wraps. Now, it’s been revealed that “no expense has been spared” in planning what insiders are calling a dream wedding.
“It’s a very grand setting,” one source shared. “They’ve gone all out to make it the most unforgettable day of their lives.”
The couple will host their guests at the luxurious five-star Lowry Hotel after the cathedral ceremony. But while Jack embraced most of the wedding planning, he was firm about skipping one tradition: the stag do. “I don’t like the idea of being the butt of every joke and dressing up like a f***ing baby,” he admitted in a candid interview.
Hanni, on the other hand, enjoyed a “non-hen party party” with her closest friends at The Ivy, where she sipped cocktails through a ‘Bride’ straw while her pals wore masks of Jack’s face.
The bride-to-be also revealed that the couple have been taking dance classes in preparation for their first dance. Posting a photo of the two in a studio, she wrote: “Hungover but dancing through as Mrs Shepherd to be.”
Jack and Hanni have been together since 2017 and went public a year later. In a past Loose Women appearance, Hanni shared, “We just clicked quickly. We’ve always talked about the future—marriage and kids. It feels right.”
