The wedding of Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) and Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) descends into panic when the bride suddenly collapses after an already dramatic day.
Meanwhile, Dev’s son Aadi (Adam Hussain) decides to confess to Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) over recent events.
And Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) surprises Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) at the festivities.
Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) uncovers lover and brother-in-law Carl’s (Jonathan Howard) car scam, while Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) tries to build bridges with son Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey).
Elsewhere, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) makes Carla Connor’s (Alison King) day with a gesture, and Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) finds out something dark about boyfriend Theo Silverton (James Cartwright).
Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) has designs on newly single George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley).
Finally, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) is suspicious of mum Tracy (Kate Ford).

1. Bernie Winter collapses at wedding to Dev Alahan after shock burglary

Bernie has a low-key hen do after saving money on Dev and Aadi’s suits, before she hears that the boys have hired a pole dancer at the Rovers.
A furious Bernie confronts Dev, only for his aunty Rani to turn up in the midst of the pole dancing!
On the big day, the quads are too ill to attend so have to watch via live stream with Joseph Brown (William Flanagan).

Bernie then forgets her lucky charm locket containing a photo of her late son Paul Foreman (Peter Ash), but when she goes home to get it, she disturbs a burglar!
Bernie eventually returns to the venue, and is walked down the aisle by younger son Kit.

Dev and Bernie look very much in love, but suddenly Bernie struggles to breathe and collapses.
Dev’s daughter Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) comes to Bernie’s aid while her daughter Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) calls an ambulance.

At the house, Chesney Winter-Brown (Sam Aston) notices the live stream has cut out, just as an ambulances passes by.
Later, Asha announces that Dev wants the family at the hospital, but will Bernie be OK?
2. Aadi Alahan confesses spiking horror to Lauren Bolton

A drunk Aadi knocks back booze in Victoria Gardens, and is ignoring Lauren’s calls.
Aadi is found by Theo and Gary Windass (Mikey North) leaning on the builder’s van, but when Theo tries to help him, Aadi falls and bangs his head.
When Lauren tracks him down at home, Aadi decides it’s time to finally come clean about what happened at the party.
During a summer bash held by Aadi, Lauren accidentally drank his cup filled with LSD and lemonade, causing her to suffer hallucinations of her late abuser Joel Deering (Calum Lill)!
Aadi kept quiet about his unwitting role in her situation, but now the pair are dating.
Lauren looks upset and angry in new images, but when Aadi also owns up to Dev and Bernie, they are horrified.
With Aadi set for an exit, will he face big consequences?
3. Debbie Webster proposes to Ronnie Bailey again

At the Bistro, with the ceremony delayed, Debbie entertains the guests by singing Hopelessly Devoted to You.
Soon, she gets down on one knee to ask Ronnie to marry her.
Pictures show Ronnie looking shocked, but it’s not long before the couple are kissing to seal their renewed engagement.

Ronnie and Debbie reunited after he finally learned of her dementia diagnosis, and it’s been tricky to navigate as her symptoms continue to deteriorate.
So far, though, they’ve remained solid.
When will Debbie and Ronnie tie the knot?

4. Abi Webster discovers Carl Webster’s car scam as their affair ramps up

Abi covers for Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) and tells everyone in the Rovers that he has the all clear.
But Abi soon sneaks out for some afternoon delight with Carl at the hotel, while Kev tells Debbie he fears he’s losing Abi.
At the hotel, Abi is shocked to see a message on Carl’s phone from Fiona, and he confesses to his illegal MOT scam and more antics at Kevin’s garage.
Back home, an excited Kevin and Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) tell Abi that Debbie has booked them a holiday to Mallorca.
Abi is horrified when Kevin reveals he already knew about Carl’s dodgy deals, while Debbie urges Abi to think hard about ending her marriage as Kevin adores her.

Abi confronts Carl about keeping Kevin’s knowledge of the scam from her, and Carl explains they did a deal to keep Kevin’s all-clear from her.
A fuming Abi realises that Kevin is still lying to her, and as the week continues, Abi fakes illness to avoid the wedding and meets Carl, admitting she feels terrible for lying to Kev.
Carl and Abi share a passionate embrace, but when Kevin returns home to find Abi dressed to the nines, how she will get out of it?
When Abi sneaks out to the ginnel to see Carl, he reaffirms how much he wants to be with her, and Abi grins.
How long until Kevin catches them out?
5. Kit Green’s bonding with Brody Michaelis goes wrong amid Metcalfe discovery

Over a curry, Kit learns more about Brody, and is left upset to hear how bad his upbringing was.
Kit wants to help his son, taking Brody to a football match instead of going to Dev’s stag do.
Meanwhile, Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) are shocked to see old bruises on Joanie Michaelis’s (Savanna Pennington) arm, and they feel duty-bound to tell social services.
Kit later invites girlfriend Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) to join him and Brody for lunch in the café to get to know him better, but things don’t go to plan.
How will Brody behave?
6. Lisa Swain leaves Carla Connor touched with sweet family gesture

Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) helps Carla and Lisa pack up the flat as he describes his weird flatmate and his current living situation.
Carla feels sorry for her nephew, and Lisa is thoughtful after the conversation.
When Ryan arrives at the house with a rucksack, Lisa tells Carla that she’s asked Ryan to move in with them.

Carla is deeply touched, and it seems that ‘Swarla’ are going from strength to strength.
But are there more hurdles to get over before they can live happily ever after?
Sadly, this is always the case when it comes to soap couples!
7. Todd Grimshaw makes a sinister discovery about Theo Silverton

Todd happily tells Theo that the corner shop flat is up for rent, while George admits he’ll miss him when he moves out.
Todd wants to cheer George up by joining the stags, but Theo is irritated and gets angry when Todd has a go on the pole.
Theo fakes a headache and insists they go home, and his possessive behaviour continues when Todd chooses an evening with Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) over spending time with him.
Summer invites Theo to join her and Todd with a pizza in front of the telly, but Theo refuses and leaves for the pub.
Todd is left bemused, but while we wonder if he’s facing the beginnings of an abusive relationship, the week takes another troubling turn.
Gary gives Theo a lift home after the latter gets a call that the social worker has arrived, but they get waylaid by a drunk Aadi.
Heading off to his meeting, Theo is accosted by PC Jess Haywood (Donnaleigh Bailey), who needs to question him about an incident at the precinct.
Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) tells Todd he’s seen Theo in a police car, but the social worker says they’ll need to check if Theo’s crime is of a violent nature like last time.
A shocked Todd wonders what secret Theo is hiding and plans to find out more, but what will he uncover?
8. Jenny Connor is smitten with George Shuttleworth

In the Rovers, Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) encourages George to join a dating app and stop pining for his ex, Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver).
Jenny interrupts by announcing there’s a burst pipe at the Kabin, and George steps in to help.
Jenny thanks George for fixing the problem, and offers to cook him dinner.
In the pub, Glenda tells George she has set him up on a dating app and he’s already had some interest.
As Jenny masks her disappointment, will she tell George that she likes him?
9. Amy Barlow is suspicious of Tracy Barlow’s motives

Ken Barlow (William Roache), Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), Amy, Tracy and Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) have an awkward family tea together.
When Tracy suggests they stop fighting and have an amicable divorce for Amy’s sake, Steve is relieved.
But, knowing her mum has form for trouble, Amy is very suspicious of Tracy’s motives.
